An anthology feature built from three separate original animated segments. In ÆLIENS, humanity has begun mixing with other worlds, and an alien girl named Elie arrives as a goodwill envoy from space; fascinated by Earth's culture and the oddities of daily life here, she joins forces with a space agency bureaucrat to look for friends. Yotsuyushika★Shoujo is set in GALs TOKYO, a city where dawn never breaks and displaced girls called Gal P compete nightly to be crowned Queen in a contest known as Queen of Butterfly. Nocturne: Kono Grotesque Yoru ni follows the pure-blooded vampire Ayame and three girls she bit and infected as they drive a van through a world humanity has left behind, finding brilliant starlight and golden fields beautiful even in ruin.
