Guin Saga

The kingdom of Parros is overrun by Mongaul's forces, resulting in the deaths of the monarch and queen. Princess Rinda and Prince Remus, referred to as the "twin pearls of Parros," manage to flee using a mysterious device found within the palace. Stranded in Roodwood, they are saved from Mongaul troops by a man with a leopard's head who remembers only the names "Aurra" and "Guin," which he takes as his own.
