Ep. 1: Rusty Angel: Gally Awakens as a Hunter-Warrior in Scrap Iron City

Cyberphysician Daisuke Ido rescues a damaged female cyborg from the Zalem dump heap, restoring her into a new body. She becomes Gally, who quickly bonds with local boy Yugo, though his obsession with the floating city of Zalem overshadows her affection. Meanwhile, Ido’s friend Chiren, bitter about his life in Scrap Iron City, warns against involvement with The Factory. When criminals Rasha and Grewcica attack a woman, Ido intervenes but is injured. Gally arrives, killing Rasha and severely maiming Grewcica. Witnessing Ido collect a bounty, Gally decides to become a hunter-warrior herself. Despite Ido’s initial reluctance, she registers at The Factory. Chiren rebuilds Grewcica for revenge. At Bar Kansas, the upgraded Grewcica challenges Gally. In a brutal battle observed by Ido and Chiren, Gally uses her speed and plasma abilities to defeat him, proving her resolve to remain herself despite her violent new path.
