Haseo is a player in the online MMORPG The World:R2, initially known as a PKK called the "Terror of Death" and a former member of the Twilight Brigade. He confronts Azure Kite, whom he believes to be Tri-Edge and holds responsible for Shino's condition. Azure Kite defeats Haseo using Data Drain, dropping his level to 1 and stripping him of all equipment. Haseo becomes determined to uncover the truth behind the Data Drain and Azure Kite's abilities. He later acquires the "Avatar" of Skeith, gaining the power to summon Skeith and use abilities like Data Drain. With this new strength, Haseo sets out to find a way to save Shino, who was attacked by Tri-Edge six months earlier and left in a coma. His search leads him to seek out Tri-Edge, a PK whose victims reportedly cannot return to The World after being attacked.
