Karasuno celebrates their first Nationals win and reunites with upperclassmen before watching Nekoma’s victory over Eiwa. Meanwhile, Fukurōdani overcomes Bokuto’s slump to defeat Eiwa. Hinata and Yamaguchi meet Kourai Hoshiumi, whom Kageyama knows from the National Training Youth Camp. A staring contest ensues before Karasuno watches Hoshiumi’s team, Kamomedai, praising his all-around skills as the Small Giant. Inspired by Hoshiumi, Hinata reflects on the play. As the first day of the Spring Inter-High ends, Karasuno encounters rival Nekoma. Daichi and Kuroo exchange words about surviving the next day before parting ways. During their rest, Tanaka finally speaks with his childhood friend, Kanoka Amanai.
