Hakaba Kitarou

A youkai child born in a graveyard, he is the final survivor of the Ghost tribe aside from his mostly-decayed father. Concealing his missing left eye beneath his hair, he works to maintain harmony between humans and youkai, often shielding humans from the tricks of supernatural creatures. The story draws from the original Hakaba Kitarou manga, which later inspired the Gegege no Kitarou series in the 1960s.
