Hashire Melos (Movie)

A young man from Messina travels to Syracuse to purchase a ceremonial sword for his sister's wedding. There, he befriends a skilled sculptor. While walking in the castle gardens, he is arrested by the King's guards. The paranoid ruler, convinced he is being targeted by assassins, condemns him to death. Wanting to attend his sister's wedding, the man requests three days to return home for the event before facing execution. The King distrusts him and demands a substitute in case he fails to return. The sculptor agrees to take his place if he breaks his promise.
