White Blood Cell (Neutrophil) arrives at the emergency site to assess life-threatening injuries but finds the blood cells he protects are absent. Massive blood loss has expelled many cells through an open wound, causing the situation to become increasingly critical. Despite the severe hemorrhage, Red Blood Cell and her new trainee remain determined to continue transporting oxygen. Their goal is to save their world and their colleagues even as the end approaches. The narrative questions what destiny awaits these cells as their environment deteriorates rapidly due to the ongoing blood loss and the disappearance of their comrades.
