A middle school student relocates with her family to a new town to live with her grandmother. Shy and reserved, she aims to adapt well to her new school. She experiences recurring dreams about a figure named Cure Moonlight losing at a Great Heart Tree. One day, two fairies from the dream appear to her, transforming her into Cure Blossom, a Pretty Cure. She later teams up with a lively classmate who becomes Cure Marine. Together, they commit to defending Heart Flowers from a group of villains called The Desert Messengers.
