Hellsing Intelligence reports that a mysterious computer chip implanted in humans can artificially transform them into vampires. A foreign college student, who had previously died, returns to life after the chip is removed. Following the killing of armed policemen in the morgue, Seras joins a Hellsing paramilitary squad to eliminate him. However, Alexander Anderson, a Vatican-based priest, arrives and murders the entire squad while incapacitating Seras. Alucard subsequently intervenes to save her life from the priest's attack.
