Following a rejected date on a Saturday night, an intoxicated businessman named Yoshida returns home to discover a young, enigmatic girl waiting at his door. She proposes that he allow her to stay overnight in exchange for sexual intimacy. Although Yoshida is an honest man who declines her offer, he permits her to remain because she appears to have no other place to go. Upon waking, the girl introduces herself as Sayu, a runaway high school student from the distant north who carries a heavy past. The narrative explores the reasons behind her flight from home and questions how an ordinary girl could resort to such drastic measures. It remains to be seen whether Yoshida can assist her in rebuilding her confidence and perspective on life, enabling her to live normally or return to her family.
