Ep. 3: Keiichi faces detective Ōishi about Takano and Tomitake's disappearance and confronts Rena.

Following the festival, detective Kuraudo Ōishi informs Keiichi that Takano and Tomitake vanished on the night of the event. Ōishi suspects their disappearance is linked to the annual "curse of Oyashiro," a series of mysterious deaths and disappearances. Keiichi subsequently confronts Rena, accusing her and Mion of withholding information. Rena shifts her tone, accusing Keiichi of hiding secrets, specifically referencing a magazine concealed at the Dam Construction site and his private meetings with Ōishi. Later, Ōishi calls Keiichi to reveal details about Rena's past that led to her relocation to the village. Shortly after the call, Keiichi's father arrives with biscuits and tea for Keiichi and Rena. He notes that Rena entered Keiichi's room shortly after the call began, leading Keiichi to deduce that she was eavesdropping through the door gap.
