Hikaru, Waya, Isumi, and Fuku participate in the Young Lion's Tournament, where only three insei will advance to the second round. During a match against Shinichi Murakami, Sai observes Hikaru make a blunder, but Shindo manages to turn the tables. Isumi wins his match, while Waya and Fukui lose. The result of Hikaru's match is yet to be seen.
