Mugi Asai, a timid high school student, struggles to decide which club to join. During a moment of excitement, she accidentally reveals her powerful singing voice. Nono Ichinose, the president of the Drama Research Society, notices this talent and approaches Mugi to invite her to the club. Despite feeling uncertain about the club's activities, Mugi succumbs to Nono's gentle persuasion and signs up. She remains unsure about what her involvement will actually entail as she officially becomes a member of the Drama Research Society.
