Following the dissolution of the Drama Research Society, the former members settle into a routine free from club obligations. As winter arrives, Chitose organizes a Christmas gathering with the specific intention of confessing her feelings to her romantic interest, inviting Risaki, Nono, and Mirei to attend. During the event, Kayo reveals to Mugi that she plans to leave school and travel abroad to improve her photography skills. This announcement causes Mugi significant distress upon realizing she will soon lose the companionship of such a close friend.
