Raoh initially dominates Fudo, yet the warrior endures due to his courage and love for his children. Kenshiro encounters Ken-Oh’s Buddhist monks while traveling to the village but defeats them without taking lives. The conflict between Raoh and Fudo intensifies until Raoh briefly withdraws, ordering his troops to fire a massive arrow that pierces Fudo, followed by additional shots. As Fudo lies dying, he prophesies that Ken will defeat Raoh. Enraged by his men’s actions, Raoh scolds them and sends them fleeing. Kenshiro finally reaches the scene just as Fudo succumbs to his fatal injuries.
