Ancient artifacts appear at a dig site, seemingly confirming Dedede's right to the throne. Dr. Curio is caught planting these items and confesses that he fabricated them to support Dedede's royalty because his business was failing. Dedede had bribed the archaeologist to facilitate this deception. In response, Dedede summons the Dedede stone, which transforms into a giant rock monster under his control. However, the creature proves no match for Stone Kirby, who successfully destroys it. The episode features the Stone Copy Ability.
