Hoshi no Orpheus

A blend of traditional and modern elements, featuring vibrant visuals and a dynamic musical style combining disco and rock, the series reinterprets five Greek myths originally recorded by Ovid. Each episode includes a new character, Wondermaker, who serves as a narrator and guide, taking on the role of each main character. The stories include Perseus defeating Medusa, Actaeon transformed into a deer after witnessing a private moment of the goddess Diana, Mercury involved in a story about jealousy, Orpheus journeying to the underworld to retrieve his lost love, and Phaeton causing chaos by driving the sun god’s chariot.
