Ep. 1: Subaru meets a mysterious boy and joins a group of witches after receiving a magical broom.

While visiting her school observatory for a meteor shower, Subaru discovers a greenhouse and meets a frail boy. The room vanishes, revealing an alien creature that leads her to a sealed classroom where she finds Aoi and other girls dressed as witches. Recognizing Subaru's potential, the Pleiadian creature and the witch president gift her a special broom. This item transports her through the clouds to a star-shaped gem that transforms her into a witch. The group attempts to capture a fragment of the Pleiadian spaceship engine but is disrupted by an argument between Subaru and Aoi regarding their past. Encouraged by Subaru's optimism, they successfully shrink the fragment. However, a mysterious cloaked figure attacks and steals it. Subaru hides the real fragment under her hat and witnesses the meteor shower up close.
