Zeno and Silva defeat Chrollo but spare him due to Illumi’s call, which allows the assassin to eliminate the mafia dons. With no clients remaining, the Phantom Troupe members depart without further conflict. Authorities discover what appear to be the corpses of Chrollo and the other Troupe members, satisfying the mafia and allowing the auction to proceed as scheduled. Kurapika relaxes slightly and reunites with Gon, Killua, and Leorio. However, in the final moments, Hisoka sends a text message to Kurapika revealing that the discovered bodies are fakes, casting doubt on the outcome of the confrontation.
