Houtarou Oreki is drawn into an unexpected situation when his sister convinces him to work as a lifeguard at a local pool. While there, he runs into the other members of the Classics Club. Eru Chitanda becomes intrigued after noticing a white object that was previously on a woman’s ear is now missing. The group spends time at the pool and works together to uncover the mystery that has caught Chitanda’s attention.
