A match determines who represents Japan, with Coach Hibiki selecting 16 players from 22 candidates for Inazuma Japan. Endou and Kidou lead two determined teams in a fierce contest watched by friends and Fuyuppe's father, Kudou Michiya. Hiroto scores first with Ryuusei Blade, but Gouenji equalizes with Bakunetsu Storm. Someoka takes a 2-1 lead via Wyvern Crash before the half ends. Midorikawa ties the game with Astro Break in the second half. Ultimately, Endou's team wins when Fubuki scores with Wolf Legend. Following the match, Coach Hibiki introduces Kudou Michiya as the new FFI coach for Inazuma Eleven. Kudou then announces the 16 selected players, marking the beginning of a new era for Inazuma Japan.
