Kariya Masaki visits Raimon and encounters Kirino Ranmaru, who questions his intentions and suspects he is a SEED. Kariya evades direct answers, lying to Seto Midori and later deceiving Tenma and Nishizono Shinsuke about the term SEED. He feigns guilt when Matsukaze expresses trust, then sabotages Kirino during practice by faking an injury. The Raimon team travels to Amano Mikado Stadium for a match against a team featuring Minamisawa Atsuishi. Inside the Cyclone Stadium, Raimon struggles against typhoon attacks. Matsukaze Tenma uses Soyokaze Step to counter the wind, while Hyoudou’s Gigantic Bomb blocks Kurama’s Sidewinder. Minamisawa’s Sonic Shot is partially blocked by Sangoku Taichi’s Fence of Gaia, with Kariya inadvertently assisting the opposing team. Kirino’s suspicion grows, and Kariya finally admits to being a SEED spy, further angering Kirino.
