Following Asuto's suggestion, Haizaki, Gouenji, Nosaka, and Endou leave their training sessions to observe the American team. However, the group does not end up scouting the opponents as planned. Instead, they find themselves competing against Ichinose and his teammates in a minigame. This unexpected match replaces the intended reconnaissance mission, shifting the focus from observation to direct competition with Ichinose's group during their break from practice.
