The catastrophic event known as the Bloody Rhapsody, historically the worst battle in world history, threatens to recur. Dark magic has transformed soldiers into berserkers who cannot distinguish friend from foe, causing both armies to advance on the royal capital with intent to slaughter its inhabitants and everything beyond. Confronted by a multitude of these mindless attackers, Taichi faces a critical choice. He ultimately decides to unleash his immense power, which is too great for a single individual to wield, in a desperate attempt to protect those he holds dear from the impending destruction.
