Jiaonang Jihua: Qiji

Capsules Project gathers original animated shorts made in China by a crew with substantial production experience behind them. The series works from a brief of intense emotion paired with independent subject matter, imposing no limits on form so that contributing creators can test what the medium allows and push Chinese animation toward international audiences. Its Miracle installment takes as its subject the act of exceeding norms and breaking through constraints toward remarkable outcomes, with a strain of mystery running underneath. Ten separate stories explore what such miracles might look like.
