Ep. 1: Asahi discovers Yoko is a vampire after his confession attempt in the classroom

High school student Asahi Kuromine struggles to keep secrets and harbors feelings for the reserved Yōko Shiragami. Encouraged by classmates after a previous rejection by Class President Nagisa Aizawa, he attempts to confess his love. Upon entering the classroom, he witnesses Yōko unfurl large wings from her back. She reveals her true identity as a vampire, explaining that she attends school only by concealing her nature. Asahi vows to protect her secret and remain her friend. Meanwhile, Newspaper Club head Mikan Akemi intends to check on the outcome of the confession, while Nagisa Aizawa is observed spying on Asahi from a distance.
