Ep. 3: Giorno Faces Polpo's Deadly Stand Test in Prison

Bucciarati arranges for Giorno to meet Polpo, a morbidly obese capo, for evaluation into Passione. Giorno visits Polpo in prison and discovers he is a Stand user. Polpo assigns a task to keep a cigarette lighter flame burning for 24 hours to test trust. Giorno returns to his dorm with the lighter but must avoid Koichi, who seeks his passport. A janitor accidentally extinguishes the flame and reignites it, triggering Polpo's Stand, Black Sabbath. The Stand captures the janitor's soul and pierces it with an arrow to determine worthiness. The janitor dies, and Black Sabbath then targets Giorno.
