The narrative jumps forward seven years to the year 1888. At this time, JoJo and Dio are reportedly maintaining a harmonious relationship, giving the impression that past conflicts have been resolved. However, this outward peace masks underlying tensions. JoJo remains deeply fearful of Dio due to traumatic events that occurred years prior. Meanwhile, Dio is secretly plotting to seize control of the Joestar family, indicating that his true intentions remain hostile despite the superficial cooperation between the two characters.
