Yuki clashes with Pseudo-Geto regarding evolution, as he prefers optimizing cursed energy over its removal. Pseudo-Geto activates Mahito's Idle Transfiguration on marked non-sorcerers nationwide, including Yuji and Junpei, transforming them into sorcerers alongside Tsumiki Fushiguro. He intends to force these groups to slaughter one another to deepen his understanding of cursed energy. Simultaneously, he releases ten million cursed spirits across Japan to facilitate his group's escape. Before departing, he tells Sukuna he is restoring the Heian era's golden age. Consequently, the government prepares to reveal cursed energy's existence as spirits increase. Jujutsu higher-ups brand Gojo an accomplice in the Shibuya Incident, sentence Principal Yaga to death, and reinstate Yuji's execution, appointing Yuta Okkotsu as the executioner.
