In response, Mai and Ahem, a witch doctor, intervene to resist his destructive plans. During the confrontation, Mai transforms into the Flower Spirit. She chants a spell in unison with the spirits of the jungle. This ritual empowers her, allowing her to grow into a giant form. In this massive state, she gains the physical capability to engage in direct combat with Ongo. The narrative focuses on this specific battle where Mai's new power is the primary defense against the deity's attack on the museum and the wider world.
