Seri visits the Homra pub to drink and converse with Izumo. Shiro experiences self-doubt after realizing he is absent from a photo at a restaurant he frequents with friends, and Kukuri fails to recognize him during a phone call. He and Kuro discover a football stadium where his family home should be, leading Shiro to believe he is not real. Depressed, Shiro asks Kuro to kill him, but Kuro refuses, citing his late master's words until he can determine if Shiro is good or evil. The episode includes a flashback detailing Tatara Totsuka's life, his joining of Homra eight years ago, and his death's impact on his friends.
