Ep. 8: Iwa rescues Nagare after the Kagutsu Incident while confronting Reisi and Saruhiko.
Following the Kagutsu Incident, Iwa discovers a child with a stone-pierced heart, lamenting his inability to save them before a Damocles manifests. In the present, Iwa uses fog to reach Nagare, claiming to be his surrogate father rather than king, and reclaims him. Reisi attempts to provoke Iwa by referencing his past as the former king of Cathedral, his failure to save nearly 700,000 people during the Red King Genji Kagutsu's era, and his subsequent departure. Unfazed, Iwa asserts he supports Nagare because only he can control the Slates. Iwa breaks Reisi's sword, damaging his Damocles, and escapes with Nagare and the Slates. Later, Saruhiko fights the Blue King, calling him a coward for fearing the Grey King's survival. After Reisi notes Saruhiko's familiarity with betrayal, Saruhiko leaves the Blue clan to join JUNGLE.
