Kaba-Enchou no Doubutsuen Nikki

An elderly zookeeper named Toshio Nishiyama mentors two young trainees: a hot-tempered former chef named Takeshi Ishizawa and a kind veterinarian named Ichiro Hasegawa. They encounter various challenges in what seems like a simple job, including a pelican that escapes, a sick camel, and the birth of a hippo. The film is based on real-life experiences from Tobu Animal Park, with Nishiyama appearing at the start and end to share his passion for animals. He also explains that Ishizawa represents his younger self.
