Kagari Hibana

A boy named Hurt, described as a genius, and Hibana, a girl who sells flowers and dropped out of school, were childhood friends who grew up leading very different lives. Hurt tries to comfort Hibana and urges her to flee before a coming-of-age ceremony, but his words fail to move her. An unexpected event then alters the course of their lives entirely. The story takes place in the World Tree, and it follows the two young people as they embark on a significant journey. Some time before this adventure begins, an unknown occurrence affects the inexperienced pair in a remote forest.
