Joker and Hachi board Mr. Kaneari's ocean liner as stowaways with the goal of stealing the Mermaid's Crystal, which Kaneari currently holds. Their mission is complicated by the arrival of Phantom Thief Spade, who is Joker's long-standing rival. Spade is also present on the ship, accompanied by his assistant, Dark Eye. The group converges on the vessel as multiple parties seek the valuable artifact, creating a tense atmosphere aboard the liner where the theft attempt unfolds amidst the presence of these competing thieves.
