Depressed orphan Karin Hanazono grieves her deceased parents and cat Shii-chan. At the grave, she punches Kazune Kujyou for insulting her. Days later, she meets his cousin Himeka Kujyou, causing her mother's ring to glow. The opening depicts a future scenario where Karin and Suzune find a Seed of Chaos. After Kazune, Jin, and Micchi fail to destroy it, Rika states their power is insufficient. Karin prepares for Love Evolution with Kazune, but Rika plants the Seed into the Chronos Clock. The device malfunctions, sending Karin back in time to her past.
