Jeanne issues a warning regarding the possession, yet Sinbad attempts to checkmate the painting believed to be controlling Yamato. In reality, Sinbad is the one possessed by a book. Jeanne intervenes to take the checkmate herself, resolving the immediate threat while uncovering the true nature of the entity involved in this complex supernatural incident.
