Maron’s friend is possessed by a demon once more, inviting Maron, Miyako, and Chiaki to an amusement park. During the outing, Chiaki and Maron become separated from the others and choose to ride the ferris wheel together to locate them. A sudden power outage halts the ride while they are at the top. Meanwhile, Fin discovers a picture containing the demon. Seizing the opportunity, both Maron and Chiaki secretly exit the stationary car to attempt a "Checkmate" maneuver against the supernatural threat.
