Following a murder at the Benizome Hot Spring, Ron gathers testimonies from other guests to formulate his deductions. While Spitz secretly delights in the opportunity to expose Ron’s sleuthing activities, he maintains a neutral exterior. Both Spitz and Amamiya outwardly delegate the responsibility of the investigation to Toto, allowing him to take the lead in solving the case despite their internal motivations and observations regarding Ron's involvement.
