Nagisa later admits she missed school while preparing a confession, prompting Naoya to enforce a strict study day. She struggles with math and fails to cheat, resulting in incorrect answers. At school, Saki demands secrecy regarding their relationship, fearing Naoya will neglect her. Although Naoya tries to expose their connection because Nagisa has no friends, Saki stops him. When Nagisa proposes limiting interactions to their home, Saki is moved and agrees to meet in secret instead.
