A college student, Kazuya Kinoshita, continues his complicated life with Chizuru Ichinose, a rental girlfriend he has introduced to his family and friends. As time passes, he struggles to maintain the deception while dealing with Mami Nanami, an ex-girlfriend who persistently reappears, Ruka Sarashina, a demanding provisional girlfriend who refuses to accept rejection, and Sumi Sakurasawa, a timid yet hardworking younger rental girlfriend. They experience various events at locations like a pub, the beach, hot springs, and during Christmas and New Year’s. Through these experiences, Kazuya’s feelings for Chizuru deepen, but she discloses a surprising truth that could fundamentally alter their relationship.
