Solomon reveals that a war between humans and Demons ended twenty years after Dunblf disappeared, leading to a peace pact with one year remaining. Arkite requires the Nine Wise Men, but seven remain missing despite evidence they are inside the game. Solomon orders Mira to locate them before the pact expires. Mira targets Nebrapolis catacombs to find Soul Howl, where she meets Tact, who seeks his parents in a mirror contacting the dead. NPC adventurers Emella, Zef, Asval, and Flicker join them. Zef sees his deceased sister Lyrica, who absolves him of guilt. Mira begins to view NPCs as more human. Tact fails to see his parents, implying they may be alive. Solomon also asks Mira to contact Howard, a deceased demon expert, regarding recent monster activities.
