A flashback to Kassarelia depicts Ms. Marbet fighting Lieutenant Chronicle Asher in the Core Fighter and Shokew, resulting in her leg injury. Skydiving Uso lands on the Shokew, fights Asher, and crashes the mech into a river before landing it. He and Shakti leave Marbet with her League Militaire group. Later, Uso discovers illegal immigrants in his home while emailing Katejina Loos in Woowig. They witness Zolo helicopters approaching Woowig for bombing. Discussing the Zanscare Empire's use of the guillotine via BESPA, Uso pilots the Shokew to protect Loos. He encounters and defeats a BESPA Zolo en route, continuing his journey to Woowig.
