Char and Blex travel to Earth, specifically the city of Dakar, where the Federation Council intends to transfer full authority to Jamitov and the Titans. Upon returning to their hotel room, Char discovers that Blex has been shot. Following this incident, Char is granted command of the AEUG. Meanwhile, Jerid and Mouar board the Alexandria after Scirocco departs. In a separate engagement, pilot Yazan Gable launches an attack against the Argama.
