Hitomi arrives to rescue Yuuya from an attack by Ryouko Araka, a porcupine Hybrid affiliated with the Yatsubishi Zaibatsu. Ryouko employs metallic quills as stabbing weapons, initially intending to kill Yuuya to eliminate Hitomi's future investor. However, she shifts her focus to eliminating Hitomi directly. During the ensuing battle, it becomes evident that Hitomi's honey badger skin is exceptionally tough, proving resistant to penetration even by Ryouko's metal weapons. This durability allows Hitomi to withstand the assault, altering the course of the confrontation as she defends herself against the Hybrid's lethal attacks.
