Ep. 1: Sawako struggles with giving handmade chocolate to Kazehaya on Valentine's Day.

During the third semester, Sawako befriends new classmates but feels lonely because Kazehaya sits farther away. Before Valentine's Day, she prepares handmade chocolates for everyone, realizing she unknowingly favored Kazehaya. Although she distributes the treats the next day, she hesitates to give his to him. Various events interfere, including his acceptance of gratitude chocolate and rejection of love chocolate. After school, Kurumi interrupts Sawako, revealing she gave Kazehaya her final chocolate and noting he rejects love chocolates but accepts gratitude ones. Kurumi identifies as a special circumstance due to prior rejection. Sawako decides her feelings are too serious for courtesy gifts, so she withholds the chocolate. Kazehaya leaves school disappointed, having hoped for something from Sawako. The episode concludes with the introduction of a new character, Miura Kento.
