Hajime and Officer Kenmochi visit a restaurant to eat. The waiter provides excellent service and serves a good meal. However, Kindaichi notices something unusual. He later informs the waiter that the individual committed a half murder before their arrival. Consequently, the woman is sent to the hospital.
