As the New Year begins, Aya and Yoko casually talk about their first dreams of the year at school. Karen suddenly appears wearing a Japanese kimono and announces that something terrible occurred in Alice's first dream. Shinobu then arrives with a sad expression on her face. Shortly after, Alice shows up wearing her English school uniform, displaying a noticeably different air about her.
