Following the defeat of Forkollossus, the Kid is transported to face Hanzo the Horrible, the second member of a gruesome trio. Upon learning of this threat, Ninja Ned attempts to dissuade the Kid from engaging Hanzo, citing the villain's atrocities, including stealing the faces of hundreds. When his pleas are ignored, Ninja Ned decides to fight Hanzo in place of the Kid. The narrative focuses on whether the Kid can ultimately defeat Hanzo and avenge Ninja Ned after the latter is defeated in this confrontation.
